Qualifications

Every school in the UAE sets its own expectations for qualifications and experience, meaning requirements can change between institutions. However, in the UAE, primary teachers generally need a degree in education, while secondary teachers must have a degree in their subject and a PGCE. Additionally, experience requirements differ by Emirate, with some preferring at least two years of teaching experience, though NQTs are often accepted in Dubai.
